PromoTexter offers two connectivity options for sending and receiving SMS

Web Interface

PromoTexter offers Clients access to TextBlaster - a web-based interface, accessible from any computer. There is no need to download software or install an application. No integration is required. We will simply set up and Account for you and issue a Username and Password.
As long as you have credit, you can send and receive SMS online.
 

Gateway Connectivity

For clients who have their own user interface application or website. The client application easily
integrates to PromoTexter's messaging gateway, allowing you to quickly and automatically send
and receive SMS messages from your existing application

Connectivity protocols we support are HTTP and SMPP, although HTTP is the suggested protocol.

Your application needs to follow our API to be able to send outbound or Mobile Terminating SMS.
For HTTP connectivity, we will provide you with and HTTP interface wherein your system will call
whenever you send outbound SMS. The parameters we require along with the HTTP request are
the Account Number provided to you, destination mobile phone number, message content and a
unique transaction code. We will send you back the Delivery Report (DR) for every message sent,
which includes a unique message ID for identification and tracking.

For inbound or Mobile Originating SMS, you need to provide PromoTexter with an HTTP interface
to relay the message sent by the Mobile User. The HTTP interface should have the parameters
for the message content, the mobile phone number and unique transaction code.
